TikTok Symphony is the platform's AI creative suite — auto-generates TikTok-native videos from a script, a product feed, or a single seed creative. The character limits per generated variant inherit standard In-Feed clamps: 2,200-character caption, ~100 visible, 40-character display name. The same per-variant rule that applies to Meta Advantage+ applies here: every generated variant must hit the limits independently.
Symphony's generation engine sometimes produces captions that exceed 100 visible characters because the underlying script can run long. The platform doesn't actively clamp during generation — it generates, and the visible-window clamp applies at runtime. So a generated variant with 130 visible characters still gets clipped, even though Symphony produced it.
The fix is to constrain the seed input. If you provide a 60-character hook as your generation seed, Symphony tends to keep variants close to that length. Provide a 200-character paragraph as the seed and you'll get variants that overflow the visible window.
