Advantage+ Shopping campaigns auto-generate ad variations from your inputs. Each input must hit the per-field limit independently.

Meta Advantage+ Shopping is the platform's automated catalog-driven ad product. You upload product creative and copy variations, and Advantage+ remixes them per impression based on user data. Character limits per input are identical to Feed Dynamic Creative — 500-character primary, 255-character headline, 200-character description, with 125/40/30 visible windows.

The crucial difference between Advantage+ and Dynamic Creative is that Advantage+ automatically pulls product data from your linked catalog, so the description field often gets auto-filled from your catalog's description attribute. If your catalog descriptions are 250 characters, the visible region clamps at 30 anyway, and the rest disappears. Plan a display_description catalog field for Advantage+ at 30 characters or less.

Headline overrides work similarly. Advantage+ will use a marketing headline you provide, but if you leave it blank, the platform auto-generates from product title. Auto-generated headlines often clamp ungracefully — a 60-character product title clips to "Vintage Sterling Silver Earrings—…" which reads awkwardly.
